Got alittle free time lately, so I decided to test out a rain effect i read in a book. Had to go back and reCGed couple of things in the pic, figured out I have to play alittle with the resolution to help with the distance of the rain, and reworked alittle of the shading too. Turned out...ok.

Happy belated Valentine's Day. I wanted to use a good opportunity to work on character interaction, so I called up my fav couple and asked to do them a pic. I also decided to start using the logo I designed in school to label my pics, to add a more personalized feel.

Some recent events have gotten me thinking of family alot lately, so I've been wanting to do something like this recently. Only problem is I had to redraw this pic 5 TIMES before I got the emotion I wanted out of this pic. Why her face (and mine) took so long is beyond me.

I've so been wanting to make a new pic for Mellie for the longest time, she was after all the first furry artist I encountered when I started 4 years ago. She probably had more to do with me working so hard to get better than anything else. I just didn't feel confident enough in my artwork to do a new one just yet. Anyway, I really hope she liked it..^^

I liked killing alot of "birds with one stone" lately. I've been working on some new techniques and making some gift art for friends recently. Alot of sharp shading in this pic, but I didn't do alot of highlights, i might resubmit it later.

This was a test to see how my Photoshop courses were helping my style, since I'd been so bogged down in school lately. It felt good to finally find a little time to draw for myself.

The typical scene in the AVL Labs at school around 1 AM or so, everybody sitting around waiting on their projects for class to finish rendering. I've had some last anywhere from 2 to 60 hours to render. *sigh* Oh well. I'll survive. Heh.

I decided to do a multi-view pic of Justin cause I've heard alot of you have had problems drawing my character, especially concerning my hat. I really like the way this turned out, I might even use this pic later to make a 3D model of Justin, but that probably won't happen until I get into 3D Studio MAX at school.
